Another Big Day!

Today was another big day for our boys!

Blake passed his car seat test today with flying colors!  We are still scheduled to room in with him this weekend and he should be home no later than Monday!  Poor thing got circumcised today :-(  He came back to eat his dinner with big crocodile tears in his eyes.  I felt horribly guilty, but I told him he would thank me some day.  He has started eating like a champ the past few days and it is much less of a struggle to get a bottle down him.  Blake weighs 4 pounds 6 ounces.

Bennett got his PICC line removed from his foot today and has been off his TPN and lipids since yesterday.  He is still on the bubble CPAP and was on 23.6% oxygen today.  He is up to 36cc's per feed and weighs 4 pounds 8 ounces today.  I tried to hold him again today and he seemed happy and content, but his oxygen monitor said otherwise so we had to put him up after 30 minutes or so.  We will try again tomorrow and see if he has a better day.  They started closing the lid to his isolette last night and that has seemed to help with him maintaining his oxygen and helping him stay more calm.  He is a sensitive little guy.

We are so proud of both of our boys and I can't believe how far they have come in 2 weeks!  It is so hard to wrap my head around the idea that we will have one of our babies home in just a few days!  So exciting :-)
